PADI Scuba Diver Course

After completing your  Discover Scuba Diving course, you may want to continue and become a certified diver. The PADI Scuba Diver Course is the first level of certification. It allows you to dive up to a depth of 12m under the supervision of an instructor. This course requires less time than the Open Water Diver PADI course, since it covers only the first three of five chapters of knowledge development, the first three of five sessions in the pool, and the first two of four training dives in the wild.

This course also helps you become a certified diver without spending much time. In addition, it is an excellent preparation course for the Open Water Diver PADI.
PADI Scuba Divers are qualified to:

  1. Dive with a PADI professional mentor up to a depth of 12 meters /40 feet
  2. Obtain diving equipment, soak bottles and other services for diving under supervision
  3. Continue their dive training and complete the Open Water Diver course and other courses such as Project AWARE Specialty and Specialty course in scuba gear.

 
Highlights of the training:
This course will teach basic knowledge of recreational diving and give you basic experience. The theoretical training will be completed exercises in the pool that you will need for diving in the wild. The open water dives will be a natural course followed by some exploration to ensure a fun dive.

During the course, you will cover theory and practical exercises related to the following:

  1. Buoyancy including descents and ascents pleasant, and breathing underwater.
  2. Keeping heat under water, be hydrodynamic and techniques for diving with a friend.
  3. Environments for diving and underwater life that you may encounter.
  4. Avoiding common problems underwater.
  5. A presentation of diving from a boat.


Prerequisites:
To follow this course, you must: Be at least 15 years old (or 10 years old for a patent Junior Scuba Diver)
