The Emergency First Response
Whether or not you are a diver, helping others is important for every day situations.
In The Emergency First Response training you will learn about how to save another person’s life and how to handle a first-aid call and be of assistance. 
The Emergency First Response course is required in order to pass the Rescue Diver or Divemaster certifications, or to become an assistant instructor.
Highlights of the training:
This training focuses on the following points:
- How to provide assistance to vital functions while practicing CPR and artificial respiration.
- How to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) (recommended).
- How to prevent and manage shock.
- How to manage a spinal cord injury.
- How to reduce the risk of disease transmission.
- The basics of first aid.
- How to use first aid kits.
